Stabilization has new DNA

Introducing HELIX: the world’s first stabilization system optimized for stabilizing between one and seventeen cinema cameras.

By virtue of HELIX’s inventive design, the Pan, Tilt, and Roll axes converge into a single point positioning HELIX as being the only head in existence which offers true-nodal stabilization for multi-camera arrays on all three axes, and with a payload capacity exceeding several hundred pounds of [ACTIVE] stabilization, limitations for stabilizing camera arrays are now a thing of the past.

After over a decade of operating in the apex of the film industry, ASCEND has completely re-imagined multi-camera array stabilization. Our revolutionary approach ignores outdated brushless motor technology; instead, we leverage state-of-the-art slotless motors powered by our exclusive and proprietary software systems. Our Patent-Pending design employs the latest advancements in stabilization algorithm for best in class stability. At only 11” tall, HELIX efficiently maintains the lowest-profile form factor possible, and its compact footprint enables the ability to mount HELIX in positions unachievable by other stabilized heads.

HELIX is the pursuit of a new understanding about how cameras can be stabilized. One that does not accept what already is, and one that will offer its operators the confidence to stabilize any number of cinema cameras from a single package, filming 2nd Unit Action, to sixteen of them, filming the most advanced 360 degree array footage available.
